Comments: According to records the car was ordered (order number 495) for Colonel Ronnie Hoare (founder of Maranello Concessionaires) on the 7th July 1970 with a factory completion date of 10 February 1971.
It was collected by the Colonel from the factory on the 8th March 1971. The car was specified with air conditioning and alloy wheels and is almost certainly the first pop up headlamp car imported to the UK which would help explain why it has no head restraints and a wood rimmed steering wheel as per the earlier "Plexiglass" cars. The car was fully restored at Maranello Concessionaires in 1989/1990 and remains in excellent condition.
